Create a job

Tap + on the Jobs page. Enter the job description, customer name, date and quoted price. Pick the job type from the dropdown — Boiler service, Leak repair, Emergency callout etc — so your reports are categorised correctly. Tap Create.

Find jobs quickly

Use the search bar below the tabs to find any job by customer name or description. Tap Unpaid to filter to only completed jobs that haven't been paid — useful for chasing outstanding money.

Log costs against a job

Tap any job to open it, then tap + to add a cost. Pick a category — Parts & fittings, Labour, Van mileage, Copper/pipework, Waste disposal, Parking, Subcontractor or Other. Tap Save & add another to keep logging, or Done when finished.

Log mileage

When adding a cost, select Van mileage. Enter the miles and the app calculates your claimable amount at the HMRC rate (55p/mile from April 2026) automatically. This appears in your tax report at year end.

Log labour hours

Select Labour as the cost category. Enter the hours worked and your hourly rate is applied automatically (set it in Settings → Rates). The amount is calculated for you.

Mark job complete

Open a job and tap the tick button. This records the completion date and moves the job to the Completed tab. The job value is added to your Invoiced total on the dashboard.

Mark payment received

Tap the cash icon (£) when a customer pays. The job shows a green Paid badge and the amount moves from Outstanding to Received on your dashboard. Payment date is recorded automatically.

Dashboard — Invoiced · Received · Outstanding

Your dashboard shows what you have billed, what has been paid, and what customers still owe you. Net profit is invoiced minus all your costs. These figures update in real time as you log jobs and costs.

Week view

Tap the calendar tab to see all your jobs laid out by day for the next 7 days. Tap any job to open it directly from the schedule.

Quotes

Tap the Quotes tab then + to create a quote. Add client details, job description and line items — tap each field to type, the number pad appears automatically for Qty and Rate. Tap Save Draft or Print & Send. Pro users can convert an accepted quote to a job in one tap.

Clients

Save repeat customers in the Clients tab. When creating a job or quote, tap My Clients to select a saved customer and fill the details automatically.

Gas Safe invoice (Pro)

Open any completed job and tap Invoice. A professional PDF is generated with your Gas Safe registration number. Print it on site or save as PDF to email to your customer. Add your Gas Safe number in Settings → Rates first.

Tax report (Pro)

Go to the Report tab, select the tax year and tap the printer icon. Your full self-assessment summary is generated — income, costs by category, net profit and estimated tax. Share it with your accountant or use it to fill in your self-assessment.

Settings

Set your hourly labour rate so it auto-calculates when you log hours. Add your Gas Safe number for invoices. Set your country (UK, USA, Canada, Australia or Ireland) to use the correct currency and mileage rate. Set your tax rate for an accurate estimate.
